Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Engineering Director to lead multiple engineering teams in building and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performing SaaS solutions in the healthcare space. This role involves people leadership, technical oversight, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely delivery, innovation, and alignment with company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor multiple engineering teams and technical leads.
  • Ensure high-quality delivery of product initiatives aligned with the strategic roadmap.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and operations to define technical vision and priorities.
  • Drive hiring, coaching, performance management, and career development for engineering talent.
  • Promote engineering best practices, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee cloud-based infrastructure, development pipelines, and system operations.
  • Maintain a strong culture of compliance, security, and audit-readiness in a regulated environment.
  • Manage global delivery models, including onshore and offshore engineering resources.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in software engineering, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing high-performing engineering teams.
  • Strong background in Agile development, DevOps practices, and scalable system architecture.
  • Experience in healthcare or other compliance-driven industries (e.g., HIPAA, SOC2).
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Expertise in building SaaS platforms with modern cloud technologies (e.g., AWS).

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience leading initiatives in regulated environments and working with compliance teams.
  • Background in CI/CD, cloud-native development, and microservices architecture.
  • Ability to drive innovation and explore emerging technologies.
